This policy explains what information Resona collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Resona (resona.digonto.in) is made and operated by Saikat Dey, India. For any question or request about your information, write to saikatdey2100@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information. Resona keeps your settings against an account. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google and use them only to run your account. Resona's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Your settings and recordings. The settings you choose and, if you use Record, the recordings you save. Recordings are private to your account and you can delete them at any time. The pitch track uses your microphone in your browser; nothing is uploaded unless you record.
- Usage information. The basic technical information every website receives, such as your browser type, the pages you use and how you use them, which we use to keep Resona working and secure.
How we use information
To provide and improve Resona, to keep it secure, and to respond to you. We do not sell your personal information and we do not track you across other websites.
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run Resona: Amazon Web Services, which hosts the app and stores recordings, and Google, for sign-in. We also disclose information when the law requires it. Resona is operated from India, so your information is processed there.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your settings. You can clear them in your browser at any time.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how Resona is used: which pages are read, which features are played and where visitors come from, in aggregate. Google Analytics uses cookies to tell one visit from another. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.
Advertising
We may show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by email, and you can sign out or clear the site's cookies at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under the law, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Resona is not intended for children. If you are under 18, please use it only with a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Resona is served over HTTPS and we take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
