Resona

Terms of service

Last updated

By using Resona at resona.digonto.in you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Resona is made and operated by Saikat Dey, India. Contact: saikatdey2100@gmail.com.

The service

Resona is a web app for music practice: a harmonium, a metronome, ear training, private recordings and Learn, its pages on rhythms, alankars and ragas. It is free to use. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

Your account

You may use Resona without signing in, or sign in with Google. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian's permission. The privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Resona: do not interfere with the service or try to get around its limits, copy its content in bulk, or upload or record anything unlawful, abusive, or that you have no right to. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Your recordings

Recordings you make are yours. You give us permission to store and process them so that Resona can play them back to you. They are private to your account, we do not use them for any other purpose, and you can delete them at any time. Free accounts include a storage allowance, shown in the app.

Our content

The app, its design, sounds, catalogues and Learn pages are ours or used under licence. You may use them through Resona and link to the Learn pages; you may not copy, sell or redistribute them.

Resona is free today, with nothing to buy and nothing to refund. If we introduce paid plans, their price, billing period, cancellation and refund terms will be shown before you pay. A subscription will be cancellable at any time and will end at the close of the period already paid for.

Disclaimer and liability

Resona is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It is a practice tool, not a substitute for a teacher, and loud audio can hurt your hearing, so set your volume with care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for anything arising from Resona is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow to be limited, including your rights as a consumer.

Ending

You can stop using Resona at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and we may discontinue the service with notice where possible.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use means you accept them. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, without prejudice to any rights you have under consumer protection law.
